Hate group NOM exposed!

Some damning evidence has turned up as a result of an ongoing investigation into the National Organization for Marriage’s finance activities in Maine. The HRC’s Expose NOM campaign can consider itself a success, as they have gotten a hold of internal documents that detail how the National Organization for Marriage plans to divide the country on marriage equality by pitting blacks and Latinos against gays. While this tacit isn’t surprising, having it in NOM’s own writing is a trip.

In NOM’s own words:

“The strategic goal of this project is to drive a wedge between gays and blacks – two key democratic constituencies. We aim to find, equip, energize and connect African American spokespeople for marriage; to develop a media campaign around their objections to gay marriage as a civil right; and to provoke the gay marriage base into responding by denouncing these spokesmen and women as bigots.
