I’m about to go speak to the crowd here in Chicago, but I wanted to thank you first.
I want you to know that this wasn’t fate, and it wasn’t an accident. You made this happen.
My favorite thing about this video has got to be the reasons listed NOT to vote for Romney aren’t really exaggerated. His Cayman Islands bank accounts, the 47% comment, shipping jobs overseas, mistreatment of animals, they’re all very legitimate concerns.
With all of the damage Hurricane/Post Tropical Storm Sandy (link is to live coverage) has done these past few days, disaster relief is a must. With millions out of power, thousands of businesses closed, and outstanding damage everywhere the government needs to help. It’s a no-brainer. A couple of days ago Think Progress unearthed a video of Mitt Romney suggesting “it would be ‘immoral’ for the federal government to fund disaster relief efforts without cutting the budget elsewhere” and saying the role of disaster relief to go to the private sector.
Franklin Roosevelt once said “If your neighbor’s house is on fire, you don’t haggle over the price of your garden hose.” That’s what would happen if disaster relief would go to the private sector. Read the rest of this entry
This is a brilliantly funny clip of President Obama calling out Governor Romney on the myriad of flip-flop positions he has taken as he tries to trick voters into thinking he is more moderate than he actually is. It’s definitely no laughing matter that Romney has been allowed to get away with his blatant flip-flopping for so long but what a great way to bring it out as we close in on the final days of this campaign season. FOUR MORE YEARS!!!

Earlier this morning the Log Cabin Republicans endorsed Mitt Romney. How they can rationalize their actions I really don’t know. Here we have Barney Frank using logic and reasoning to point out the giant flaws that go with the Log Cabin Republicans thinking and ridiculous actions. He’s well worth listening to.
