Forgive me for the really long title.

I found this image on my facebook page. I thought it was pretty funny. With all the technology in the world these days that it seems like almost everyone has, I believe that this wouldn’t just be the case for same sex couples or polyamorous couples. Yeah, technology is great, and it often makes things easier and makes it easier to keep in contact with friends, family, and loved ones, but sometimes I feel like our world depends on technology so much, that they either forget they have a brain, or they forget to use it.

Facebook Releases Map of Marriage Equality Support

If you’ve been on Facebook at all in the last week, you’ve undoubtedly seen an increase of red on your timeline, and less of your friend’s faces. Video of yesterday’s rallies in DC

Like much of the nation, if you weren’t able to go to the rally outside of the Supreme Court yesterday, there’s a great video after the jump where you can catch that experience. After things had settled for the evening, activist group GetEQUAL and the Backbone Campaign projected an image of “Marriage Equality Now” onto the Supreme Court Building itself. Seeing all the support for equality from this and red equal logos on Facebook make for a very encouraging sight.

Bed and breakfasts, florists, all those that are wedding-related, will be affected.
