Top 10 Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Attacks on Women’s Rights

I got this from Emily’s List today and I just had to share!

The Right Wing decided it wanted to play Monday Morning Quarterback with my lady parts this year. It seems like an odd choice for a recreational activity, especially since there’s no legislative or medical reason to suddenly introduce radically restrictive and dangerous legislation on women’s health and bodies. Maybe someone should introduce them to Pinterest instead.

I guess asking her to spend 5 minutes going around the house and changing clocks to help out since I go to work all week to pay her bills is just asking for a little too much.

Gay Leadership 101

I taught my first formal leadership development class for FedEx Office (then FedEx Kinko’s) in 2007.  It was probably the funnest position I’ve held with the company and it really crystalized the value and importance I place on organizational leadership.  I was president of the Future Business Leaders of America club in high school and I’ve been the proud Chief Queer since we launched Queer Fresno back in 2002.  I’ve learned a lot about leadership in general over the years and specifically leading a gay organization more recently.  Here are three basic tenants of gay leadership according to Mike Martinez…
