Decision day anniversary

decision day webified

Today, June 26, is the first anniversary of Decision Day here in California.  It’s that day that U.S. Supreme Court struck down Prop 8 as unconstitutional and paved the way for legalizing gay marriage in the Golden State.

I was working that day and couldn’t get down to the Cast until way after the celebration and crowds were gathering.  We sent Mr. Reliable, Nathan Daniel Simpson, down as our eyes on the ground and roving photographer.  He shot this QL-exclusive and original pic and it’s been one of my all-time favorite shots.  I have one framed in my office.

This is a web-friendly photo but if you want the high-resolution file for quality printing or maybe blowing up to frame or posterize just let me know.  Just send $10 to mike@queerlandia.com on PayPal and we’ll send it to you.  If you would rather us invoice you just let me know.  You don’t have to be a PayPal member to use the secure credit/debit card link.

Happy Gay Marriage in California Day!!!
