Gay Marriage and Sushi?

This is a strange correlation that probably has no validity whatsoever but it’s kind of fun anyway. Have a look at the article and chart here.

‘The younger you are, the more likely you are to support gay marriage. But what if there’s another dimension to this generational shift—the sushi gap? Raw data from a new survey of Americans’ food preferences shows that age-based unwillingness to put delicious uncooked fish in your mouth correlates nearly perfectly with existing data about who disapproves of marriage equality.’

  1. Haha, nifty. I wouldn’t eat sushi for the longest time, but then I finally tried it and I’ve been hooked ever since.

  2. Intriguing correlation, even if it isn’t valid!

  3. Hhhmmm. Sounds FISHY to me. :-P

  4. Tried to eat raw fish tonight. It didn’t work. I now know “crudo” means the fish is uncooked. Still very much in favor of marriage. I suppose there’s always an outlier, huh?
