Once again, Europe shows the rest of the world how to get it done.
The lower house of the French Parliament has passed a bill legalizing same-sex marriage, and allowing same-sex couples to adopt children.
The measure passed by a vote of 329-229, led by President Hollande’s Socialist party. It will now head to the Senate, where supporters perceive a similarly promising coalition.
