The New Hampshire House of Representatives have defeated bills attempting to rescind marriage equality laws in that state. In a 211-116 vote, the House voted to kill a bill that would have repealed the existing laws that allow same-sex marriage.
A bill to require a state-wide referendum on the subject also failed, 162-188.
