On Top Magazine, Ellen and the Oscars

On Top Magazine?  I already like it!  Lol.  Here’s a great article from On Top about Ellen and her new JC Penny commercials:

JC Penney will debut five commercials starring Ellen DeGeneres as the company’s new spokesperson during Sunday’s Oscars telecast.

DeGeneres gave viewers of her The Ellen DeGeneres Show a preview of the commercials on Friday.

In one of the ads, DeGeneres is seen in ancient Rome.  She tussles with a Victorian England hat store clerk in another.

JC Penney has been under attack by the AFA group One Million Moms, which has called on the retailer to fire DeGeneres as their spokesperson because she is openly gay.

The group accused JC Penney of “jumping on the pro-gay bandwagon.”  A move it claimed would leave the company with fewer customers.

  1. The video is embedded in the right panel of this page? WHAT right panel of this page? Is there some hidden panel that you have to open via a hidden button or by removing a certain book on the shelf? Maybe it got lost in the mail along with my copy of The Gay Agenda?

Sigh… Guess I’ll just have to follow the link and hope for the best…

BTW I LOVE that JCPenny did not back down and cave in to the demands of the Religious Far Reich! I’ll bet Old James Cash Penny is having a good old laugh while looking down on those bigots running around while making right fools of themselves!

And if you happen to have a spare copy of the Official Gay Agenda would you send me a copy please?

    1. Sorry Julie. That link was carry over from the previous site. I forgot to delete it after I posted the excerpt. Thanks for brining it to my attention. I deleted the link so it shouldn’t confuse you any more! Lol.
