Rogue Festival in the Central Valley set for 2012
Dear Rogues:March 1-10, 2012 has been set as the dates for the Rogue Performance Festival. Applications will open for Mainstage, Café, Gallery, and BYOV/BYOG components October 1, 2011 at 10am and close October 15th, 2011 (BYOV/BYOG applications will stay open until November 15th, 2011). All Festival Press Information will be due no later than December 1st, 2011. Check the website for more information and updates.

Drunk D.C. Cop Shoots Transgender Woman
Why do D.C. cops have such problems with the LGBT people? First they refuse to report a vicious attack on five lesbians, and now a drunk cop shoots a transgender woman. Is there something in the water?
Officer Kenneth Furr started his weekend by getting into “a confrontation” with a transgender woman and two other people, which led to a “minor collision” and Furr shooting the transgender woman. The two other people there with her also sustained injuries, but it seems the police haven’t been able to figure out how yet. They’re also not sure whether charges should be filed, because y’know, it’s all fun and games because no one lost an eye, someone just got shot.
Spartacus and butt sex
So I’ve started watching the first season of Spartacus on Netflix and I have to tell ya: I might be hooked! I’m all about great Gladiator action and even more on board with gay sex being featured right along side straight sex. It’s all about equality right!?
