I’ve been a big fan of George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Fire and Ice series for a long time which means I might have had a slight fanboy meltdown when I heard that HBO had decided to turn the books into a television series. The series premiered two weeks ago but I haven’t been able to check it out until recently. Having watched the first two episodes now I have two reactions of note:

First: Good lord! Richard Madden, who plays Rob Stark, is an attractive man.

Second: The intro makes me really want a small model clockwork city.
